Yardley United Methodist Church has maintained a rich and diverse musical heritage over many years.
Junior Choir includes children in grades 2-5 who enjoy singing. This group sings at worship services about once per month and practices each Wednesday during the school year from 5:30-6:30pm.
Chancel Choir welcomes all who enjoy singing traditional (mostly classical) choral repertoire. Some degree of music reading skills are desirable. The Chancel Choir leads the music at the 11:00 o’clock traditional worship service every week. Rehearsals are Sunday morning at 10:15 am.
Praise Band is a group of musicians, lead by Steve Burke, who perform contemporary Christian music to lead our 9:00 am Sunday worship.
Celebration Singers welcomes all who like to sing – no need to be able to read music! Contemporary ensemble style repertoire. This group performs frequently at the 9:00 am Celebration Service. Practices are Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm. Child Care is provided if needed.
Wind Ensemble is a group of wind instruments that plays for worship seasonally at Christmas and Easter. It is open to players at the high school level and up and currently includes adults as well as students in high school, college, and graduate school.
