It is my pleasure and privilege to accept the appointment of Pastor to the people of Yardley UMC and neighbors. God is at work here as we serve each other with peace and humility to seek the well-being of every person. I have personally experienced the transformative power of God at work throughout my life and believe that God continues the work here in Yardley. In 2021, I graduated from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH with an M.Div. and concentration in Pastoral Care. I have been a Pastor of United Methodist congregations in South-Eastern Pennsylvania since 2018, and I have previously been a Youth Leader for 10 years. I am called to preach, teach, and lead. However, my other giftings lie in the areas of audio-visual and information technologies and lean process implementation.  I can carry a tune, but you won’t see me in a professional choir. I have found that humility in prayer is the most powerful way to engage the transformative power of God’s Holy Spirit in each of our lives. However, offering prayers alone are only one way of expressing faith in Jesus Christ. Bearing witness to the ways in which we have seen Holy Loving God at work AND acting at the direction of the Holy Loving Spirit of God, are necessary if others are to see confirmation of our beliefs. In these ways, we resist evil in the world and seek to do good for all our neighbors. May God bring you peace and shine life life-giving power upon you friend of God.
