We serve god and others
Meet our Leadership
Rev. Marcia Lincoln-Heinz
I am excited to have been appointed to Yardley UMC. Two of the most important things about me are that God is first in my life and I'm an optimist. These qualities color everything about me. With God as my constant, all things are possible.
I am married and we have two young adult children. I have lived in Newtown since 1987.
I am a second career pastor, having worked first in the finance world. I began professional ministry in 2006 as a chaplain for the University of Pennsylvania Health System. As a pastor, I have served churches in Bucks County, Lancaster County and Philadelphia.
My prayer for each of us is that we continue to grow in our relationship with Christ for the betterment of the body of Christ. Let's serve mightily with honor and open hearts.
I have been in the youth ministry for over 15 years. I believe in the transforming power of our saving LORD and God's detail plan for every human.
My focus in Youth Ministry is to meet students where they are in their Spiritual Journey and provide opportunities for them to take the next step closer to God.
Director of Music
I have been a conductor, singer, pianist, and music educator since 1985. At YUMC I oversee and coordinate the entire music program. I direct the Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir and Celebration Singers as well as many vocal and instrumental soloists. I also prepare and manage the Power Point presentations in worship.
I have been employed at YUMC since 1999. I aim formy work at YUMC to be a ministry which furthers God's Kingdom. I am a graduate of Maryville College in Tennessee and previously was the Assistant Manager of Customer Service for an international company.
I am married and have two grown and married daughters and three grandsons. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband walking in Tyler State Park, gardening, reading and entertaining friends. I love to hike, swim and boat in Maine while on vacation during the summer.
Riti is our Nursery Caregiver. She cares for, warmly engages with, and comforts the youngest of our congregation members each Sunday morning.
Riti is a full time employee at the New Jersey State government. She has been a resident of Yardley since 2012.
Riti comes to us with many years of parenting experience as well as babysitting experience. Her calm, warm, and fun personality is inviting to children and makes it obvious to parents that she enjoys kids’ company.
