YUMC has been supporting Grace Café at the Arch Street United Methodist Church twice a year for the last several years. Grace Café is a worship service and restaurant style community meal for individuals experiencing homelessness and struggling with food insecurity. Grace Café serves meals to approximately 200 individuals every Sunday evening and this mission could not survive without support from volunteer churches like YUMC.
We are getting ready to serve a meal at Grace Café again on April 22nd ! If you can help donate food or help serve a meal at Grace Café in Center City Philadelphia on April 9th, please either sign up on the bulletin board outside the Sanctuary, or go to perfectpotluck.com and sign up using the coordinator’s name of “LABA” and the password of “YUMC.” This important, local ministry feeds about 200 people weekly that are either homeless or in need of some help, and we have 74 food donation slots to fill before then.
